    UFC 217 took place November 4th, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

It was without a doubt a historic evening in the history of MMA. 

The event was the UFC's second show at Madison Square Garden, headlining by three title fights. In the main event the return of the welterweight king GSP after a four-year layoff was historical as he successfully finished Micheal Bisping via submission in the third round to  
become the new Middleweight champion.

In the bantamweight division, T.J Dillashaw ended Cody Garbrandt’s title reign in a spectacular way, knocking out his former teammate with a second-round stoppage to reclaim the title.

In the women's Strawweight division, Rose Namajunas shocked the world and beat the previously unbeatable Joanna Jedrzejczyk by a first-round knockout.

UFC president Dana White spoke after the incredible night of fighting and he considers UFC 217 one of the greatest card ever in the history of the company.

"Yeah it could be it really could be". White was asked if this was the best card of all time.  
"There's something about the garden, every time we're in the garden fights are amazing". He added.
