Conor McGregor won't return to UFC unless he's co-promoter

Conor McGregor won't return to UFC

The current UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor plans on returning to the UFC to defend his title after his boxing loss against Floyd Mayweather in August, but it seems the negotiations between the UFC and McGregor for this comeback won't be easy especially after 'The Notorious' latest announcement for his promotion company: McGregor Sports and Entertainment.

McGregor recently spoke in Q&A prior to the debut of his biographical film “Notorious” in Dublin saying he won't return to UFC unless as a co-promoter .

“I was promoter on the Mayweather fight, and we’re in current negotiations, I ain’t stepping in that octagon again unless I’m part owner of the whole setup – I’m a promoter.”
“We’ll see,” McGregor said. “We’re in the process of negotiations, there’s a couple of opponents across different sports now in play, there’s the boxing game also..., you’ve got all these separate entities growing. I’ve got employees that have employees, and it’s all involved in this whole bubble. So if I truly get back and it’s time to fight again, I must distance myself.”
