  Tony Ferguson has staked his claim to the UFC Lightweight championship.

'El Cucuy' finished Kevin Lee in the third round via a triangle choke of their UFC 216 main event on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Ferguson won his 10th consecutive bout and claimed the UFC’s interim lightweight championship.
In the co-main event Demetrious Johnson successfully defended his flyweight title for a UFC record-breaking 11th time, stopping Ray Borg by an armor submission in the fifth round.

Financially, MMAjunkie obtained the list of disclosed payouts from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw UFC 216.
