Comments are still ongoing about what happened on August 26th, the fight as it called "fight of the century" between Floyd Mayweather and Conor Mcgregor had different opinions before, during and even after the fight. Mcgregor even after the great performance during the early rounds, he couldn't finish on the same rhythm and eventually Mayweather with his great experience succeeded to get the TKO stoppage in the 10th round.
Some of the comments that came out lately was by the boxing legend George Foreman and how he saw the fight, in his interview with Obviously Fight Talk Foreman said that this bout could be the fight of the year:
“Well, for the first time, I think all of the media should apologize for all the negative things they were saying about the fight,” Foreman said. “It’s probably…it’s going to be hard to top it. It could have been the fight of the year.”
“Not only did he surprise Floyd Mayweather, he surprised me and a whole host of experts, because McGregor hit Mayweather often, his defense didn't even work against Conor,”
Also added, “He had to come out and fight like an old boxing slugger, like George Foreman or something.”
