Boxing Vs. MMA this war won't end even recently after the Mayweather-Mcgregor Fight...
The story began many years ago, even the great Muhammad Ali had a story in this clash, exactly in 1976 when he fought Japan’s biggest pro wrestling star Antonio Inoki. The fight though was a farce and it declared as a draw. But what really made it happen was the hype and what both fighters cashed.
A lot believe that, Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor Mcgregor bout gave the fans what they want and it was worth all the hype.
Recently, another big name in combat sports come out regarding this subject, Anthony Joshua the current heavyweight champion of the world is in serious negotiations for a UFC mega fight.
Boxing Kingdom has just reported that UFC president Dana White has been speaking with Eddie Hearn, who is the promoter of Joshua regarding a potential heavyweight matchup in the octagon.
The British Boxer right know is focusing on his upcoming September fight with Kubrat Pulev for the WBA title.
Reports have linked Joshua's name with the former KickBoxer and current UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem who is coming off an outstanding wins over Mark Hunt and former UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum.
I had my journey out of MMA and became champion in another sport, the K1 ring. No desire to redo but willing to welcome others into the UFC! https://t.co/Zue6Q2lN2W— Alistair Overeem (@Alistairovereem) September 3, 2017
AJ even during a recent interview, he addressed this subject:
“I like fighting, I’d do whatever. The only thing that they can’t do is submissions but they can kick, elbow, bite – whatever they want,” Joshua said.
“I can’t beat a guy [via submission]. That takes a lot of time to learn the skills and submissions, which I don’t have the time for, but when it comes to pure aggression and fighting rules, I can definitely fight, so I don’t mind that.”
“It wouldn’t be a problem,”
The hype seems to exist for this bout.
